About the meetups

Event Sourcing is like Nessie, everyone have heard about it, not many have seen it.
It's considered (wrongly in my opinion) as not easy architecture pattern, that's designed only for specific usages.
In my meetups and workshops I plan to show that, contrary to popular opinion, this is a fairly simple pattern that gives great opportunities, eg.
- better understanding of the business domain,
- flexibility,
- possibility to do time travel, returning to the exact point in time,
- auditability
I will present concrete sample application written with Marten and .NET Core. It will be spiced with the dose of CQRS and DDD.
